 Illegal settlements continue as more and more Palestinians are being murdered by Israeli Soldiers

Like I mentioned earlier, the murder of Palestinians is not something new and has been going on even before 1948. Therefore, in the 1967 Middle East War, Israel, unfortunately, occupied East Jerusalem and illegally seized the west bank that they consider the "heartland" of the Jewish history as written by AlJazeera.

"Hundreds of thousands of Israelis have since moved into settlements that are regarded as illegal under international law." (AlJazeera) 

This is Outrageous and inhuman!


The violence and murderous behavior that the Israeli soldiers are committing goes against Palestinian freedom. Thus, the courageous Mohammed Daadas was waving his Palestinian flag to honor his country in front of the Israeli soldiers. Mohammad was participating in a riot against the continuous illegal expansion of settlements that are occurring in his own village, West Bank, and he threw stones at a couple of Israeli soldiers who are protected by their protective gears.

Long story short, one of the soldiers who was protected by his armor got struck by a small stone but did not get injured. The harmless 13-year-old teenager who threw the rock got tear-gassed by the same soldier and so Mohammad ended up dead. 


"The Palestinian health ministry said Mohammed Daadas died in hospital on Friday after being shot in the stomach." (AlJazeera) 



Reyad Daadas, one of his relatives, said: "Our family has lost eight martyrs, and this is the ninth. It will not be the last as long as there is occupation, as long as there is an enemy perched on our chest, (an enemy who)doesn't distinguish between the adults and the youth." 




How much more Palestinians have to die for the world to wake up and realize there is an ethnic cleansing happening under our eyes? To the people who are looking back at the Holocaust wishing humanity did something different when all of these murders, attacks, bombings are happening to Palestinians in our present life and nobody is stopping that? What happened to all the political leaders who steal oil from Arab countries but support the enemy? How can I believe there is hope in humanity? When will it be too late? Or is it too late already? 

At school, we are thought to love everyone, to treat everyone the same, to act right, and be fair with others. You may think, well, how does school compare to politics? You see, in first grade, I had a new special gum that I was excited to try so I left it for later by putting it in my bag. Thus, one of the girls who did not have gum decided to steal it from my bag and, when I told my friends, they said that it belongs to her even though I know for a fact it is mine and it belongs to me. As confusing as it seems, this is the same thing that is happening to Palestine. People are blind and can clearly not see the fact that Israeli stole the Palestinian land illegally. Why is it so hard for people to realize that what others own is their own propriety, their own belonging and possession? Even though Israelis had no land after the Holocaust, and I wish that Jews were not killed but, just like my friend who stole the gum and made everyone feel sympathy for her,  it is completely wrong to take from others what you do not have and on top of that play the victim...
